Ronaldo shuts door on Inter Milan: I want to retire at Real Madrid

Ronaldo has stated he will end his career as a Galactico

Brazilian ace Ronaldo has declared he wants to retire at Real Madrid.

The striker is enjoying his best form of the season after being linked with a return to former club Inter Milan earlier this campaign.

But Ronaldo appears to have shut the door on an Inter reunion by stating: "Yes, I want to play out my career at Real Madrid."

"They renewed my contract through to 2008 and I have the confidence of the president. It is the greatest club in the world and if they do not sell me, I want to finish here."

He added: "I have an incredible and eternal love with Madrid and Florentino (Perez). I am very happy, the president has enormous confidence in me."
