Ronaldo's agent denies concerns over Real Madrid contract

The agent of Real Madrid striker Ronaldo has rubbished Brazilian press reports that he is refusing to sign a new contract extension.

Ronaldo has verbally agreed terms on a contract extension through to 2008, though has not put pen to paper.

Reacting to the reports, the player's agent, Rodrigo Paiva, insisted: "Neither I nor anybody else connected to the deal have commented on those things because they are absolutely untrue."
