Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo says Gareth Bale is already a fans' favourite.

Ronaldo has helped the former Tottenham ace settle quickly in Spain.

"The fans love him and he's a fantastic player who will help us win trophies," said the Portuguese.

"The pressure at Real Madrid is huge. He's on the right track now and we’re helping him."
