Ronaldo makes first appearance for Real since April

Brazil striker Ronaldo made his first appearance for Real Madrid since April when he came on as a second-half substitute in their Champions League Group E match against Dynamo Kiev on Tuesday.

The 30-year-old missed the end of last season after he suffered a thigh injury but recovered in time to play for Brazil to play in the World Cup.

He underwent surgery on his left knee in July and was originally expected to be out of action for three weeks.
