Ronaldo Looking To Make Peace With Inter

Real Madrid striker Ronaldo says he wants to make peace with Inter after he controversially left the Italian club in the summer.

Many felt Ronaldo was wrong to leave the Nerazzurri after they had stuck with him through his many injury problems.

"I hope to make peace with Inter," he said. "I had an important relationship with the Nerazzurri, and the way it ended still makes me feel bad. Also for the fans, who were always with me in my worst periods, as well as for the club."

He then wished the club and president Massimo Moratti well: "They deserve the Scudetto. I hope truly that this is the good year."
