El Mundo Deportivo says Raul has put his omission from Spain's Euro2008 triumph to good use by hiring a personal trainer to work with him this summer.

Raul has concerns over the potential arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo from Manchester United and is doing all he can to maintain his first-choice status. The appointment of Vicente del Bosque as new Spain coach is also acting as inspiration for Raul, who is determined to break back into the national team.
