Ronaldo: I will speak with Real Madrid about Rivaldo

Real Madrid striker Ronaldo says he will speak with president Florentino Perez about signing Rivaldo in January.

The AC Milan attacker is ready to end his time in Italy after being left out of the starting line-up this season by trainer Carlo Ancelotti.

"I'll personally speak with president Florentino Perez, asking him to take an interest in buying Rivaldo," Ronaldo told Brazilian TV station Globo.

Manchester United and Middlesbrough have also been linked with Rivaldo, who is set for talks with Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani in the coming days about his situation.
