Ronaldo: I'm gunning for Barcelona trainer Van Gaal

Real Madrid striker Ronaldo has warned Barcelona trainer Louis van Gaal that he will be gunning for him when the two clubs meet this season.

Van Gaal has been critical of Ronaldo since his return to Spain and the Brazilian revealed last night of his plans to hit back at the Dutchman.

He said, "Whether at the Nou Camp or at home against Barcelona, I know how I am going to celebrate."

"First I must score, but I repeat that I know how I will celebrate it. I have a surprise prepared for Van Gaal. I have a desire."

"I do not know him and never have I spoken with him, but he needs to respect me. He will get a pretty surprise."

"I am not going to say anymore - for now."
