Ronaldo Has Landed: What Is He Going To Say?

Ronaldo has just landed at the Malpensa airport in Milan. The Fenomeno is expected to meet Inter's board (not chairman Moratti, who is on holiday...) right after his arrival, but what is he going to say? Why does he want to leave Serie A and join Real Madrid?

Apparently, the issues which led the Fenomeno to the decision of leaving Inter are three. First of all, the difficult relationship with Hector Cuper, who is "guilty" of considering him like all of the other players. In a few words, the Argentinean coach didn't make him feel "special": however, this looks like a one-sided "antipathy": as a matter of fact, Cuper keeps on stating that Ronie is fundamental for the Nerazzurri.

Another man Ronaldo apparently doesn't put up with is Juan Alfano, responsible for Inter's physical training. According to the Brazilian striker, Alfano's methods don't fit in with his muscular problems, and all of the injuries he picked up last season were provoked precisely by this "wrong" way of training.

Last but not least, Ronaldo wasn't satisfied with Inter's attitude during his rehabilitation period, which he spent almost entirely in Brazil and in Palma De Mallorca. Most of the Italian papers wrote that he should have stayed in Milan with his teammates, thus somehow insinuating that he was there to have fun, as well as to train. Ronie didn't feel protected by the club, which should have defended him with more conviction.

In the meanwhile, Real Madrid are waiting for some news. General manager Jorge Valdano keeps on stating that the Merengues won't make an offer until Inter tell them that the deal is possible, but reports from Spain reveal that Real have already made a bid, offering either Solari or Morientes plus 25 million Euros. If this is true, it's going to be a very difficult deal: chairman Moratti values his player at no less than 100 million Euros.
