Ronaldo dedicates debut goals to Real Madrid fans

Ronaldo dedicated his two goals in yesterday's 5-2 victory over Alaves to all "Real Madrid supporters".

The Brazilian struck twice in a dazzling debut which proved his fitness and form in front of a world-wide television viewing audience.

"I didn't feel any pressure," said Ronaldo.

"People around me were much more nervous than I. Before leaving for the stadium I was nervous. But on the field everything was easier because it is what I know how to do."

"It felt great to hear the supporters sing my name. I hope this continues for a long time."

"I know that I am going to be a better player and enjoy the game more here than in Italy. Here the game is all about going forward and the tactics are much more attacking."
