Ronaldo backs Real Madrid pal Robinho

Ronaldo is convinced Real Madrid teammate Robinho will eventually again have the success he enjoyed at Santos.

The Brazil international winger has struggled to adapt to Spanish football, but Ronaldo insists: "Robinho is very good but everyone thought that he was going to succeed immediately.

"I took four years to turn into a good player after first being with PSV, just like what has happened with Ronaldinho and Adriano."

"Robinho has exceptional quality and when he spends more time on the pitch and is used to Spanish football he will succeed."
