Ronaldo Back 'Soon' - Isco Concerns

Cristiano Ronaldo has told social media he will 'soon' be back for Real Madrid, however Isco is set to miss the Osasuna match this weekend and the Champions League opener with Sporting Lisbon.

Ronaldo, having suffered his knee injury in the final of Euro 2016 of course, simply said 'soon' on Twitter referring to his return to first-team action with the 31-year-old now back in full training with Real.

A return for the Real match with Osasuna when La Liga returns of Saturday is probably too soon as could the Los Blancos Champions League match (as we start our defence of the trophy) with Sporting but you never know with Cristiano!

Reports in Marca though are saying Isco will miss both of those matches? His ankle problem, which wasn't thought to be that bad, meant the 24-year-old was expected to return to action after the international break with him missing Julen Lopetegui's first match in charge of Spain with no risks taken.

But these reports now say the midfielder isn't ready with Zinedine Zidane deciding he wants the midfielder to get himself fully fit before he does become involved again so he could sit out a little longer.
