Ronaldo agent warns Man Utd

Cristiano Ronaldo's agent has admitted that contract negotiations with Manchester United have stalled.
 
Jorge Mendes, who represents Ronaldo, told the Daily Star that the Portuguese winger was in limbo at the current time.

"Negotiations are at a standstill," said Mendes. "I am still waiting for a call from the club."

The situation with Ronaldo has inevitably led to assertions that the sensational winger will be sold.

Real Madrid have been credited with an interest - and director of sport Arrigo Sacchi underlined that the club would like to sign the player.

"The quality that he has and his age mean that he would be welcome at any club in the world," said Sacchi.
