Roma seek loan deal for Real Madrid's Cicinho

Roma are ready to open negotiations with Real Madrid for fullback Cicinho.

The Brazil international is now being made available by Real, which have already told Roma they must match Liverpool's £8 million bid to land the right-back.

However, Il Romanista says Roma are keen to setup a loan agreement with the view to a permanent deal and are ready to pay an initial £1.5 million to take Cicinho for the next 12 months.

Once Roma have settled terms with Real, they won't have problems agreeing a deal with Cicinho, who has already declared that the Giallorossi are his first-choice should he leave Madrid.
