Roma coach Spalletti: No Real Madrid offer for Cassano

Roma coach Luciano Spalletti has played down talk of Antonio Cassano joining Real Madrid next month.

Cassano had only just come back into the squad due to a contract dispute, but is now sidelined with an injury. Although there are strong reports that a deal with Real Madrid has already been struck, Spalletti has other ideas.

"I am told when the club has received an offer for one of our players and so far I have heard no news on Cassano. I think that, at the end of the day, he might even stay at Roma," he said.
