Roma And Real Charity Match Ends Scoreless

European heavyweights Real Madrid and A.S. Roma could not muster anything more than a scoreless tie in a rather dour exhibition game in New York's Giants Stadium.

The match carried double-signifance as it both honored Real Madrid's 100th anniversary and also served as a fundraiser for the Global AIDS foundation.

The best chance of an action-starved match fell to Real's newboy from Argentina Esteban Cambiasso, but he headed just wide of goalkeeper Luis Cesar Sanchez on the hour-mark.
