Robinho's agents agree Real Madrid deal to 2010

The representatives of Santos winger Robinho has struck a deal with Real Madrid for next season.

A group of agents, led by Juan Figger, have been in Madrid negotiating terms with Real on behalf of the youngster this week.

A deal has been agreed for a five-year contract, with Figger phoning Robinho last night to say: "Robinho, congratulations, you already can be considered a player of Real Madrid. This will be as of the month of July."

Robinho will play out the season with Santos as they seek glory in the Copa Liberatores. In their agreement, Real have the option of pulling out of the deal should Robinho be seriously injured before July.
