Robinho's agent set for Real Madrid talks today

Real Madrid hope to finalise personal terms with the agent of Santos winger Robinho in the next 48 hours.

Robinho's agent, Juan Figer, is in Madrid for discussions with Real president Florentino Perez, who now wants to push through an agreement for the youngster.

Perez wants to seal personal terms with Robinho, so forcing Santos to openly declare they're dealing with Real Madrid over the winger's transfer.

Chelsea are also tracking Robinho and Perez knows without the verbal commitment from the player, there is nothing stopping Santos opening talks with the Premiership giants.

Interestingly, Perez spent last Wednesday night watching a DVD of Robinho's five-star performance for Santos against Corinthians, which has connections with Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich.
