Robinho: Real Madrid move can happen in hours

Santos star Robinho has admitted he's on the verge of signing for Real Madrid.
 
"I do not want to speak about this because, if Brazil loses (the Confederations Cup), they are going to say that I was not focused on the team," said Robinho when asked about a move to Real.

"But I can tell you it is a question of hours."

He added: "It will be a privilege to play for Real Madrid. But I wouldn't consider myself a galactico as I still have much to learn."

"I am very happy with how I am living, I'm proud that Real Madrid has paid attention to me and I thank them for it."

Robinho also said: "I believe I'll be happy at a club like Real Madrid. Robert Carlos has spoken to me very well of the institution. It is one of the best teams in the world and for me it will be a privilege to play for them."
