Robinho: Real Madrid can catch Barcelona for title

Santos winger Robinho is backing prospective employers Real Madrid to catch Barcelona and pip them for the championship this season.

The Brazil international remarked: "I saw the Real Madrid-Barca game on television. It was magnificent and Real Madrid deserved to win."

"There are still six points between them, but after seeing the way Real Madrid played against Barca, I think they can catch them."

"Although they will be relying on other teams to do them favours."

Robinho's comments are another sure sign that he is on his way to Real Madrid at the end of this season.
