Robinho: I kissed Real Madrid badge because I want to stay

Robinho insists he kissed the Real Madrid badge after scoring on Sunday against Osasuna without thinking.
 
The Brazil international declared earlier this year that he may quit Real at the end of this season, but now insists he wants to stay after playing a key role in their sudden title resurgence in recent games.

"The feeling when scoring the goal was indescribable. I did it (kissing the badge) without thinking about it, it was just natural," said Robinho.

"I want to be an important player in the history of Madrid, not one that came and went without making an impact. Hopefully I can become the best in the world with the shirt of Madrid."

Robinho added: "All the players are becoming more and more confident. We believe we can win the Liga.

"There's never been any rifts. People said the Brazilians were against everyone else. But we all play under the one Real Madrid shield.

"I've never thought about leaving because there is no club as big as Madrid.
