Roberto Carlos unsettled at Real Madrid

Roberto Carlos is becoming increasingly unsettled at Real Madrid.
 
The Brazilian chose not to take his seat with the squad's leadership group for this week's Christmas lunch. Traditionally the captains sit together, but while Guti and Raul took their places, Roberto Carlos chose to sit with Brazilian pals Baptista, Robinho and Ronaldo.

AS says Roberto Carlos regularly left his seat to use his mobile phone and appeared distracted.

Real vice-president Emilio Butragueno insisted the Brazilian's decision not to take his place on the captain's table was unimportant. However, it's emerged that since the sacking of Vanderlei Luxemburgo, Roberto Carlos has become increasingly distant.
