Roberto Carlos Unconcerned By Lack Of Real Signings

Real Madrid full-back Roberto Carlos says he is unconcerned by the fact that president Fiorentino Perez has so far failed to sign any new players this summer.

Two years ago Luis Figo arrived at the Bernebeu, where as last year it was Zinedine Zidane. This time around, however, Perez insists that no mega-money signings will be arriving.

"We have a group of the highest level and if no one has come in it will be because the president trusts us," said Carlos.

"We have defenders, like Fernando Hierro, Helguera or Iván Campo, and Madrid, although another player has not come in, still has a good group."
