Roberto Carlos talks up Real Madrid's UCL chances

Roberto Carlos says Real Madrid has an "enormous chance" of winning the Champions League this season.

The Brazilian didn't hide his expectations ahead of tonight's opener against Olympique Marseille.

"This is the biggest competition there is and we have an enormous opportunity to win the Champions League," said Roberto Carlos.

"It is a huge season for us, which is why we want to begin well against Olympique Marseille. If we start well, then we have every chance of finishing well."

"We hope to reach the final of this competition. That's the target for everyone at the club."

"Manchester United and AC Milan are our biggest rivals."

"But Olympique also are a great team. They have some great players and whenever we talk about them at Real we always give them the utmost respect."
