Roberto Carlos: Robinho perfect for Real Madrid

Roberto Carlos is convinced Santos star Robinho will start the new season at Real Madrid.
 
Despite Santos president Marcelo Teixeira's stance, Roberto Carlos is confident Robinho will be moving to Spain before the new campaign kicks off.

He told AS: "Everyone wants to play for Real Madrid. The numbers that support this club around the world are bigger than Barcelona, Brazil, even Manchester United.

"When Robinho joins Real, he will know he can learn something new every day. It is the perfect environment for a player of his class.

"He's a player with that special ability. Like Zidane, Ronaldinho or Ronaldo. There are great players, Beckham, Figo, Eto'o and Raul. But someone like Robinho has that bit extra. He is almost a complete player."
