Roberto Carlos linked with shock Inter Milan return

Roberto Carlos is being linked with a sensational return to Inter Milan.

The Real Madrid wing-back admitted yesterday that he was still to sign a new contract with Real and wanted first team assurances before putting pen to paper.

Corriere dello Sport says Real chiefs remain determined to sign Adriano in January, despite the Brazilian problems this year and could include Roberto Carlos in their offer.

Only this week, Inter president Massimo Moratti insisted Adriano would not be sold during the winter transfer window.
