Roberto Carlos intends to hold talks with the new supremo and will give Real the opportunity to match Chelsea's offer. If they fail to do so, he will accept a move to Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea have offered the 33 year-old wing-back a three-year contract worth £4.2 million-a-season.
