Roberto Carlos: I Don't Want To Leave Real Madrid

Brazilian left back Roberto Carlos has attempted to end speculation linking him with a move to Inter Milan by insisting that he doesn't want to leave Real Madrid.

Inter's president Massimo Moratti is believed to be keen on bringing Carlos to the San Siro, possibly as part of a deal that would see Ronaldo return to Spain.

However, Carlos, who has been at Real Madrid since leaving Inter in 1996 has no intention of leaving the European champions.

He told Spanish daily Marca: "I will not move from here. I am happy and I do not have any intention to leave Real Madrid."

Carlos added that he hadn't been contacted by Inter, saying: "I do not know anything. Nobody has called me or told me of Inter's intention to sign me, but right now they are wasting their time because I am happy in Real Madrid."
