Roberto Carlos: I can't understand Arsenal's Vieira rejecting Real Madrid

Real Madrid wing-back Roberto Carlos admits he cannot understand Arsenal captain Patrick Vieira's decision to reject the Spanish giants in the summer.

Roberto Carlos told AS: "Vieira did not want to come because he thought that demonstrating his love for Arsenal was more important."

"But when somebody says no to Real Madrid, it is necessary to let him tell why."

"It seems to me incomprehensible that a player says no to Madrid."
