Roberto Carlos healthy, eager to play

Yesterday Brazilian national defender Roberto Carlos was informed about the results of his medical scans and concluded: "I'm healthy."

His injured tendon has already healed. If Carlos takes part in training today then he is very likely to play in the World Cup qualifier against Venezuela to be held on Wednesday, Diario As reports.

Although Carlos will participate in today's training he will not interrupt his rehabilitation treatment. Medical examinations revealed that the defender has fully recovered from his knee injury but it is necessary to continue treatment for complete recovery.

"Everything is good. I already can help my team and I'm proud of it. Everybody knows about my great desire to play," Carlos announced.
