Roberto Carlos hails Real Madrid signings Baptista, Robinho

Real Madrid star Roberto Carlos has hailed the club's double Brazilian capture of Robinho and Julio Baptista.
 
"Yes! They're both great reinforcements," Roberto Carlos told AS. "The truth is that we, the players, knew the club would be signing some great players this summer because we needed a strong team for this season."

"Robinho is a very, very good player. I am confident he will succeed with Real Madrid."

Roberto Carlos was also asked about his good pal and Real Madrid teammate David Beckham.

"He is a very good player. He knows how to play football very well and I believe that he can improve even more. He is not like what his public image appears. He's a nice, simple guy."

"The last campaign he did not always play, but I hope that with Luxemburgo he reaches his potential."
