Roberto Carlos: Garcia a great signing for Real Madrid

Real Madrid wing-back Roberto Carlos welcomes reports stating Osasuna midfielder Pablo Garcia is set be the club's first summer signing.
 
Garcia is expected to sign for Real Madrid immediately after the Copa del Rey final and Roberto Carlos told AS: "If Real Madrid signs him it will be great as he is a very important player."

"For a team like ours, his arrival is perfect because he can fill a position where we have struggled. He plays with and without the ball and if he comes he will make Madrid stronger."

"Maybe Pablo Garcia isn't a star, but he will be very welcome at Real Madrid."

"He is a midfielder of the highest level. He is the perfect defensive midfield player."
