Roberto Carlos favours Real Madrid stay over Chelsea

Roberto Carlos will meet with Real Madrid sports chief Predrag Mijatovic at the end of the week.
 
The Brazilian, 33, wants to know if he is in the plans of new coach Fabio Capello and whether they will sign fullback Gianluca Zambrotta from Juventus.

Roberto Carlos has a year left on his current contract and has been tabled a three-year deal by Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich worth £12 million. However, those close to the Brazilian say he wants to work under Capello again and will resist the lure of London if the Italian asks him to stay.
