Real Madrid star Roberto Carlos has warned pundits: "Don't write us off for the championship".

Ahead of this weekend's massive game against Barcelona, Brazil international wing-back Roberto Carlos declared: "It's very important the supporters are with us."

"There is always a sense of expectancy and it is crucial, fundamental, that they're with us."

"People have said hundreds of times that Barca have won the Liga. But they still haven't! We're second and no-one should write us off."

"We can still win the championship."

"We win on Sunday and then there is six points separating us with seven games to play. I know the supporters can sense something is changing. We feel it as well."
