Roberto Carlos confirms Chelsea contract offer

Real Madrid wing-back Roberto Carlos has revealed he's studying a three-year contract offer from Chelsea.

The Brazilian left-back, 33, is keen to stay at Real Madrid but has just one year left on his deal.

He said: "The problem is not financial. The problem is the length of the contract."

"I hope to get a reply from Real Madrid to renegotiate my contract. If not, I'm going to look somewhere else. Chelsea have made a good offer."

"I want to have a good World Cup and, three or four weeks later, I hope to have decided whether I stay at Real Madrid or go to Chelsea."
