Robben Refuses To Leave Real Madrid

Arjen Robben is following in the footsteps of his compatriot, Wesley Sneijder, by refusing to leave the Bernabeu.

After Florentino Perez's extravagant spending, he is keen to raise some funds, but most of the players he wants to sell have no intention of leaving.

According to El Mundo Deportivo, Robben has instructed Los Merengues to stop offering him to other clubs.

Perez is keen to sell both Sneijder and Robben, believing he can raise upwards of €40million by doing so.

Robben has found some support within the club, however, with sporting director Jorge Valdano adamant that he remains a key member of the squad.

However, Perez states still intends to sell Robben on, believing that he is still highly regarded throughout Europe, despite his injury record.
