Robben gives Real Madrid fitness boost

Real Madrid signing Arjen Robben is expected to make his debut after the international break against Almeria.

Robben was signed from Chelsea carrying a knee injury, which Real doctors warned president Ramon Calderon about, says El Mundo Deportivo.

The Dutch winger took part in training for the first time since his arrival yesterday and fitness staff are confident he can be fit for their Almeria clash - should his knee show no negative signs.
