Rivaldo Won't Join Real, Say Barca

Barcelona's lawyer Josep Maria Coronas has confidently insisted that Rivaldo won't join bitter Spanish rivals Real Madrid.

The Brazilian was released from his contract at the Nou Camp over the weekend and Real have been made one of the favourites for his signature, along with AC Milan and Manchester United.

Coronas said: "The fans of Barcelona can be calm, Rivaldo will not sign for Real Madrid."
