Rivaldo Wanted Flavio To Join Him In Milan

Spanish daily AS have reported that Rivaldo was very keen to see fellow countryman Flavio Conceicao join him in Milan.

The Real Madrid midfielder was linked with a move to the San Siro a few weeks ago, and it has now been reported that Rivaldo suggested to Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani that the former Deportivo man would be a good player to sign.

Galliani spoke to Real about the possibility of a move, but the player's wage demands would have exceeded the Rossoneri's budget.

Galliani apparently explained to Rivaldo that the move was unrealistic given what they'd just shelled out to sign the playmaker.
