Reyes won't go back to Arsenal

Real Madrid winger Jose Antonio Reyes vowed never to return to Arsenal.

Spain international Reyes, 23, is currently on loan at Spanish club Real after moving to the Bernabeu in a swap deal with Julio Baptista.

The former Sevilla star was unable to settle in London after his ten million pounds (15m euro) move to Arsenal in 2004 and had been desperate to return home for several months before finally joining Real on transfer deadline day in August.

It is expected that both Reyes and Baptista will sign permanent deals with their new clubs, but Reyes is certain he will not go back to England.

He told 4-4-2 magazine: "I struggled to adapt to England and so did my family. I do not even want to think about going back."

"Everything in England is shut at 5pm, there is nothing to do, nowhere to go. I just got bored."

"I do not think I failed in the Premiership but English football is very hard."

"I would not say it is a relief to be back in Spain, but I am happy here."

"I always wanted to come to Real Madrid and would love to end my career here."
