Reyes keen on Real move

Arsenal's Jose Antonio Reyes is being tipped for a sensational move to Real Madrid by his own agent.

The striker cost Arsenal a club record 20 million pounds from Seville in the 2004 January transfer window.

But Reyes' agent Jaime Rodriguez insists he will be delighted if he can negotiate a quick return to Spain.

Reyes' dip in form has led to speculation he is struggling to settle in London and a deal that could see him move to Madrid and former Liverpool striker Michael Owen arrive at Highbury was believed to be possible.

"It is an honour for Reyes that Real Madrid are interested in him," Rodriguez said, "but they know what his situation is and what they have to do. If the clubs can reach an agreement there will be no problem."

Reyes has hit eight league goals in 23 starts for Arsenal this term.
