Referee named for Champions League match between Real Madrid and Juventus

UEFA have appointed Slovenian referee Slavko Vincic as the man in charge of Wednesday’s match between Real Madrid and Juventus.

Slavko Vincic will referee the match between Real Madrid and Juventus, on matchday three of the Champions League, which will be played at the Bernabéu (Wednesday, 9 pm CEST). The Slovenian will officiate a match involving the team in Europe’s top competition for the third time.

Vincic has the experience to referee this kind of game between two European giants. Both teams will definitely play with intensity, and while it would be tempting for Real Madrid to focus on Sunday’s Clásico against FC Barcelona, facing Juventus will require a quality performance if Los Blancos want to earn the three points in this one.
