Redondo and Raul Were Stupid, Claims Official

Fernando Redondo and Raul have been branded as stupid and a pair of imbeciles for accepting an award from Real Madrid's Ultrasur fans after the Champions League clash against Milan on Wednesday.

The Director General of Immigration in Madrid, Tomas Vera, expressed his disgust that the duo made there way back onto the pitch after the game to receive a trophy in honour of Redondo who played for Madrid for six years before leaving for the San Siro.

"I think they were stupid to do this because they legitamised a racist Nazi," fumed Vera, after the players stood with Ultrasur, Jose Luis Ochaita, for photos.

"It was politically incorrect to accept the thing. Redondo is an extraordinary player, but he and Raul were imbeciles for going back out on to the pitch and walking behind the goal to receive the plate off an delinquent, racist, xenophobe."

"They have given media coverage and legitimacy to this group of people and that should be condemned."

"Real Madrid can do nothing to Redondo, but they should penalise Raul for doing this because the club is working very hard to stop all aspects of racism among the fans."
