Real unhappy with Inter | RealMadrid.dk

Jorge Valdano hinted on Friday that Real Madrid could seek to renegotiate the 10 million euros pending in the Ronaldo transfer deal following Inter Milan's failure to reach an agreement with Santiago Solari.

Under the terms of Ronaldo's move from Inter to the Bernabeu at the start of the season, Real Madrid must either pay a further 10 million euros to make up the full fee of 45 million euros or give the Italians Solari on a free transfer.

Real gave Inter Milan the green light to sign Solari when the transfer window opened but the Argentine midfielder rejected a contract offer that Valdano, Real's sporting director, described as being unreasonably low.

"The negotiations with Inter are over because they have made an offer that is clearly insufficient," Valdano told Cadena Ser radio.

"It wasn't to the liking of the player and it didn't seem reasonable to Real Madrid."

"What's more, it seems to us that the offer was not in accordance with our agreement. It's an offer that doesn't even match what the player earns at Real Madrid."

"It gives the sensation that Inter are thinking more about the "no" of the player than in complying with our agreement."

"There are 10 million euros in play and we'll have to talk about whether they should be paid or not."

Solari has not been included in the Real squad since talks with Inter began and Valdano has already stated that they will attempt to transfer him to another club if he does not reach agreement with Inter.
