Real torero promises to fight to the end

Under-fire Real Madrid coach Wanderley Luxemburgo claims he has the nerves of a bullfighter and will stick with his team to the end of his contract in 2007.

"You need to be like a torero in this sort of situation but I came here to win things and we will win," the Brazilian said Thursday.

Misfiring Real, without injured playmaker Zinedine Zidane, have lost their last three matches -- two in the Liga and one in the Champions League.

They badly need a win against Athletic Bilbao on Thursday night to climb out of the relegation zone.
