Real to rest five for Celta clash

Real Madrid coach, Vicente Del Bosque will give at least five senior players a well-earned rest when the side take on Celta of Vigo on Saturday.

Del Bosque is concerned that a number of players are still carrying mild injuries from Tuesday's Champion's League match against Bayern Munich and wants to make sure that he has a fresh side for the return leg in Germany on Wednesday.

Ivan Helguera, Claude Makelele, Aitor Karanka, Jose Maria 'Guti' and Steve McManaman could all be rested for Real Madrid's visit to Celta.

Albert Celades and Flavio Concecaio look set to take over from Helguera and Makelele in midfield while Karanka's place in the back four could be filled by Ivan Campo. In attack, Macca and Guti will be replaced by Santiago Solari and Savio Bortolini respectively. The match kicks off at 7.30pm at the Balaidos stadium in Vigo.
