Real To Call In FIFA Over Solari

Real Madrid are to call in FIFA to arbitrate over Santiago Solari's failed move to Inter.

The Merengues wanted the deal to go through so they wouldn't have to pay the Italian club the remaining €10 million for Ronaldo.

However, Inter couldn't agree terms with the player, and Real director of Sport, Jorge Valdano, confirmed: "We will request external arbitration to analyse precisely what has happened here."

"Inter made a wage offer which was lower than what he currently receives from Real, and therefore they did not fulfil their part of the agreement."
