Real swoop for stopper

Real Madrid have agreed terms with Logrones to bring 21-year-old keeper Ricardo Pison to the Bernabeu.

The young keeper passed a medical in Madrid on Thursday morning and will be incorporated as the club's fourth-choice goalie behind Iker Casillas, Cesar Sanchez and new recruit from the youth team, 23-year-old Carlos Sanchez.

Pison was one of the heroes last season for Logrones, helping the Riojanos make the ascent from the third division to the Segunda B league.

Real have snatched the player on a free transfer and plan to enlist him into one of the youth categories.
