Real Sociedad's Xabi in "no hurry" to join Madrid

Real Sociedad midfielder Xabi Alonso is in no hurry to move to Real Madrid.

The Spanish international is expected to be Jose Antonio Camacho's first signing since his arrival at Madrid.

But Xabi admitted last night: "What I do not know is what is going on between the clubs."

"I am on the margins of everything and so far, what I know, I am not going to sign. I am not in a hurry."

"Now what I want to do is win on Saturday against Russia."
