Real's European pedigree will tell, Ronaldo predicts

Ronaldo is confident Real Madrid's European experience and class will get them out of trouble when they return to Champions League duty against Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday.

Real won the European Cup for the ninth time last season but they are in danger of failing to reach the quarter-finals this time round after taking just a point from their opening two Group C matches.

A 1-0 defeat by Osasuna on Sunday was hardly ideal preparation for Wednesday's game against Dortmund at the Bernabeu but Ronaldo, in his first year with the Spanish giants, believes his side will bounce straight back against the Germans.

"Losing to Osasuna will not influence the Dortmund game," Ronaldo said on his website on Monday.

"Over recent years I've witnessed how Real, particularly in difficult and decisive moments in the European Cup, become greater."

"We'll go at Dortmund from the very beginning and we'll only be thinking of victory."
